One of the great things about Thailand is the creativity of the people. Here we have a coffee shop owner who has welded together a strange double-decker bike.
He jokingly said it helps him to ride through floods. Though he might actually be serious, considering how badly it often floods with heavy rain in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand.
Owner Chan Pengpen, 38, collected the two old mountain bikes from the rubbish from his home. How’s that for up-cycling? Geddit?
He then built a bizarre double-decker bike before test-riding it around the car park outside his coffee shop.
Chan said: ‘’It was fun but I cannot ride for a long time. I do not want to take it on the road. It would be a bit too wobbly.’’
