Two tourists were being hunted by wildlife officials after cruelly teasing a wild ELEPHANT.
The couple were cruising along a road running through a national park when they spotted the Asian elephant in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand.
A woman records herself yelling ‘’fatty’’ to the creature while a man shouts more abuse at the distressed elephant.
When the beast starts running to catch up with them, they simply accelerate away laughing – before repeating the taunts again.
Wildlife officers at the Khao Yai National Park are now searching for the Thai tourists who face up to five years in prison for harassing the elephant.
The park’s district vet Pattapol Maneeorn said: ”This elephant is P’Yoyo. He’s the number one alpha male in the area.
”He often gets injured when fighting other elephants and is very quick to respond to environmental stimulus, so he can get grumpy easily.
”Although, in the case, the tourists in the car were not injured, their actions could cause trouble to other motorists on the road.
‘’People should not bully the elephants. If an elephant attacked people after being provoked, then the elephants would be blamed as well.’’
